Verlasso

Verlasso developed a way to raise salmon off the coast of Chile that required fewer feeder fish and with less environmental impact than was required to meet sustainability standards. I was inspired by the idea of living harmoniously with nature and by the indigenous peoples who originally inhabited that part of the world. After some research on the visual depictions of various animals from those cultures, I created a fish in a similar style with ripples representing Verlasso’s influence for good.
