After having worked at Rapt Studio for a short time we decided to refresh our brand, adding color to a black and white system, and updating the logotype. As an an integral piece of the brand team, I was heavily involved in this process, selecting colors for our palette, typesetting the logotype, laying out stationery, and going on press to ensure color fidelity.
We threw a party to celebrate the refresh with clients, friends, and others in the local design community. In preparation for this event I designed a poster, creating a spring motif out of the Rapt Studio brand mark. I worked with a local screen printer to have these printed in three colorways as part of a gift bag for our guests. Included with the gift was a custom canvas tote, a branded candle with a custom spring-themed scent, and a branded packet of California poppy seeds. The seed packets were mounted to a wall covering a new graphic celebrating our bold new look and attitude and became part of an interactive unveiling.
